I want to do quite a lot of things but I am either procrastinating, or not doing it seriously enough. So I have decided that I will draw up a timetable of the things that I would like to do. But I am not finding enough time. Here is my current plan.
7-8am: Getting ready for office
8am-6pm: Actually being in office
6-7pm: Watch Mahabharat
7-8pm: Practice Guitar
8-10pm: Surfing + Blogging + Dinner
10pm-10:45pm: Pranayama
10:45 onwards: Sleep
Ok, so that takes care of blogging and guitar, and I hope I am able to do the pranayama, but other than these I have the following things to do.
Meditation – 30mins
Learning(c++, android, php etc.) - 1hr
How do I fit in these into my timetable? I think I can make time for meditation in the morning. I have never done this more than 5 mins, but I want to reserve some time for it and do it strictly. I am hoping that it will indeed help me relax.
So, lets say 6:30-7am: Meditation
Then when else do I have the time to do some learning? I mean, I do think I am not trying to do everything on the earth, but when there is not enough time to do just this much, then something is seriously wrong. In fact the situation was much worse previously when I used to travel 3 hours between home and office.
I was ‘officially’ busy between 6:00am – 7:30pm, which took away almost all of my time. I used to get lesser sleep and I used to be so tired after the travel that I never had the mood to do anything. Maybe the only useful thing that I did was watch a movie everyday while travelling.
Let me try and do what I have planned for now. I will try and fit in the learning somewhere in between or do some adjustments over time. I am counting on this blog post to help keep me on track in what I want to do.
EDIT: Oh, and yes, I do have to set aside one hour to exercise. Thats about 2 extra hours in a day that I need. grrrr……
