Beware of Guhantara Resorts Bangalore

Guhantara Resorts is fast becoming a famous name on the lips of people in Bangalore who want to take a weekend break. It is a new resort themed on cave dwellings. Of course the concept and the ambience are such that one has to visit this place at least once and experience the amazing architecture and theme.

But like all places looking to get famous and get rich quickly, this resort too has given in to temptation without a caring two hoots for valid bookings that were made well in advance.

Facebook's Redesign Woes – Change is Coming

Facebook recently did another major change to their design and this frustrated a lot of FB users. It was quite hard to adjust during the last major FB design update. A nail in IPL's coffin

So another nail has been driven into the BCCI’s and IPL’s coffin by the English Cricket Board and the English government. England has refused to host the IPL that was originally scheduled to be held in India but was moved out citing security reasons.

Now will the BCCI crib against England for having refused to be able to provide security to the cricketers? No, I am sure they will not. In India its common to bad mouth the politicians and engage in dirty politics, but they cant go around bad mouthing every country that they come across.

Disappointment and Trouble over IPL venue switch

Is trouble brewing for (NRI)PL already?

From initial reports, various international players have expressed dissatisfaction that the venue is being moved from India. In fact Flintoff has gone on record that he was looking forward to this IPL as he would get a chance to play in India. Although there are players who are skeptical of coming to India due to its susceptibility to terrorist activites, it does seem that many players were looking forward to playing in Indian conditions and in front of the enthusiastic Indian crowds.

IPL has been moved out of India

The IPL which is the Indian Premier League will not be held in India this year. This is so crazy. So the Indian Premier League will now be the International Premier League. Already the number of Foreign players in each team are above 50%. The only ‘India’ factor in the IPL was that the league was being held in India. But now this is no more the case.

Ways to Promote Cycling in Bangalore

I want to buy myself a cycle which I can use for short errands or chores including riding up to some nearby shops. I can save on the effort of pulling out my bike and wearing the full-face helmet(I wear spectacles) and also save on petrol costs. More importantly it helps me go green to save the environment and also contribute my bit to reducing my carbon footprint.
