Decided that I would get back to learning and programming apart from what I do at office. At office I work on ABAP and this being a proprietary language I only learn what I work on and what I need to know to make my modules work. There is nothing really great or "out of the box" in what I am doing. So I have to make the time to learn something different and even practise what I learn to keep in touch. I used to know C++ and core Java to a very good extent, but 4 years of not even reading the name of those languages have made me forget how to even write a simple program in that language.
So its important that you practise regularly and keep in touch with a language. I’m gonna start my life as a hobbyist programmer yet again and this time its gonna be with .Net
