A few minutes back I got this mail from a friend of mine which contained a link to this page. Take a look before you read the rest of this post.

Some things struck me from this narration.
1) Everything was fine on earth until something bad happened – Us.
2) The mad craving for this resource has lead to global warming – Oil.
I think we have our solution in our problem itself.
Global warming is our problem and global warming is our solution.
Let me explain. First lets see what is global warming.
Global warming is the phenomenon were it has been observed that the average temperate of the earth increasing. The main reason for this is attributed to the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect refers to the trapping of the heat, radiated back from the Earth’s surface, by the atmosphere. The release of waste gases due to the burning of fossil fuels and such have lead to the pollution of the atmosphere with gases such as carbon dioxide, Sulphur dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane. There are also some gases which cause global warming but you would never have thought that they were among the culprits. These are the, what I term, life givers – Water Vapour and Ozone.
How do these 2 affect global warming you ask? Water vapour is a major reason why the heat is retained. In fact stats show that between 36% and 90% of the greenhouse effect is because of water vapour. Why does Venus have the hottest surface temperate even though Mercury is closest to the sun? Thats because Venus has a dense cloud (read water vapour) cover which traps all the heat and hence the temperatures are so high. Also the atmosphere is predominantly CO2. In fact if there was ever a live case study of a planet that has succumbed to the effect of global warming then Venus is one.
Earth is a great system. In fact it could well be called a self-regulating and self-healing system. Very much like our very own life system. So much that it can be called a pseudo life system. We can think of plants and animals are small cells in the life system of earth carrying out some specific function for earth. Here is a better idea of how the Earth system behaves.
Lets start from the ice age (coz thats how long back I have analyzed). Earth was all cold and dry during the ice age. Earth wanted to have a warm temperature. Hence it started pumping out gases from the core such as Sulphur and Carbon dioxides. Also the oxygen in the upper layers of the air started converting to ozone. Ozone and these gases started the process of global warming. In fact global warming existed back then and it was all good. What is happening now is not global warming, it is global heating, its global warming to the times of 10. Thus the atmosphere got hotter and life evolved. Earth then created volcanoes so that land was formed and life could evolve and spread more onto land. Of course, due to penetration of breathable air in the atmosphere, life evolved to take flight as well.
Then the Earth fell ill. It contracted a disease. All good things are not forever. Just like over eating rich and yummy food will give you a stomach ache and stomach infection since your body cant handle all that good, Earth had too many pleasures for itself and something had to happen. I love the way Smith tells Morpheus in the movie ‘The Matrix’ – Humans are a virus. Yes, thats right, the disease that the Earth contracted was the evolution of humans. Humans grew too intelligent and too advanced for their own good and soon the symbiotic relationship with their creator – The Earth, turned into a parasitic relationship. The very existence of the humans would lead to the destruction of the Earth. Or so the analysts believe. Human destroy the good things created by Earth, the Flora and Fauna, and are spreading across the face of the Earth like a Cancer.
Earth is not oblivious to this fact. Earth has thought of means to curb this problem. If humans cannot change themselves and adapt to more symbiotic relationship with earth, then its just a matter of time before humans will cease to exist. In one way or the other. The Earth system behaves like a balance. When one side is loaded, the earth would try to compensate for it by loading the other side. If the other is over compensated for then the first side is loaded to restore the balance. Because nothing is static, the balance will never be completely stable. In fact balancing and counter-balancing is an ever going process. Now it can such happen that sometimes an object that has been added to balance the equation, so greatly over compensates the situation that the balance tilts completely in its favour. The balance is tipped and the object justs falls off the balance and equilibrium is restored to how it was previously. I am unable to create a gif to show what I mean, but I will give it a shot by explaining. Consider a see-saw with left and right sides. Object A is placed on the left and it goes down. Now object B is placed on the right and it restores but because of the inertia/momentum the right side goes a little lower. Now C is put behind A to bring that side back down. Continuing… D is put behind B to make the right side lower. Adding of the objects can also be taken as the object is already present and is growing heavier i.e becoming a bigger burden. Finally the see-saw will swing so perilously that the last object added (in this case, D on the right side) will fall off. Now because of this sudden ‘weight loss’ the other components on the balance might be unsettled, but finally equilibrium would be reached and thats for the betterment of all.
Thus, the humans have outweighed themselves on Earth and no its not a burden for the Earth as many of us believe but its a problem for us because the Earth is just going to shake us off the face of the Earth. In fact we are actually helping the Earth get rid of us. I’ll get to that point soon. You can see how the Earth is doing this. Increased number of Earthquakes, cyclones and other natural disasters are a way for the Earth to show that it is not satisfied with something that is happening on its surface. As I said earlier, I believe that global warming is in fact ‘the’ solution to the problem thats causing global warming. How you ask? I’ll show you how.
What did the video (the one in the second sentence of this write-up) say? Oil is a craving that we have and is a reason why we have global warming (burning of fossil fuels and such). What has Earth done about it? It has taken the first step to ensure that this doesn’t keep happening by slowly exhausting the supply of oil and fossil fuels. With the depletion of oil, we will stop burning it and polluting the atmosphere. This is the first chance that has been given to the Humans by Earth (It might be the 100th for all you know, but I am considering this as the first). We have been given the time to think about it and start using alternate sources of energy to reduce pollution. If we still dont think about it and adapt to the situation, then the Earth still has an ace up its sleeve. In the wild, its always the survival of the fittest and the one who can adapt the fastest/best.
Lets look at this step by step.
1) Humans are polluting the atmosphere and destroying nature
2) This activity is causing global warming
3) Global warming is mainly/perceptibly causing a rise in sea levels and change of climatic conditions
4) This will cause discomfort to humans because of changing weather conditions and because of flooding land and populated cities.
5) What is the result of this? Humans cannot survive and will die. Simple, no land no life. Unless you take to the trees – Adapt my dear friend.
6) No more humans (or not more senseless parasitic humans, some sensible/adaptable ones might survive) and no more pollution and senseless destruction.
7) Slowly plants will consume the harmful gases. Some other species would evolve that survives on these gases. 
Pollution and greenhouse gases are depleted and the phenomenon of global warmin
g is not there any more.
Problem Solved.
What the activists have been preaching are in fact true in terms of philosophy of what has to be done but somewhere they have missed out one subtle point. We no longer have to promote the “Save Earth” campaign. The Earth can very well take care of its own self. We have to promote the “Save Humans” campaign. Its our choice to make a difference to the world and save the human race from being eradicated. Change our ways and live in harmony with the world and everything will be all right, continue with the way we are behaving now and soon there wont be any of us left to make any difference.
