Take 1

Its the D-day. The stage is lit up and the crowd is watching. Thunderous music fills the air and strobing lights are everywhere. The boys start walking out dressed in clothes that they feels is what everyone these days should be wearing. Everyone is showing off their favourite colors. The boys take their positions. ‘The’ boy is standing a little offset from the center, towards the lead. Maybe he is the main character, or so he thinks. He holds his own and the show revolves around him. He is dressed in Dark Cyan and Yellow. Yellow shirt and cyan trousers (Maybe its a faded jeans).

The girls start walking the ramp. Dressed in shades that will pale a rainbow in comparision. Walking past the guy fro, behind him and taking up positions on his sides. Posing and carrying on. And then she comes. Dressed in colors that shock everyone. Everyone is looking at her. How can someone’s thoughts match so closely. Our guy does not know what is happening. The girls walks up from behind and poses on the ramp diagonally in front of him.

Shock decends on the guy when he sees her, like how lighting decends from the clouds. She is wearing cyan salwar and yellow dupatta. Is it a trick of the lights?, he wonders. How is it possible that someone like the same colors. She gracefully walks past him, glancing over her shoulders and says…

“I know you like the dress. I think you also like who is wearing it.”

…and she walks away into the smoke screen.

Now is that a pick up line or what? Beats me…
